The 2016 Nissan Maxima has finally arrived. In continuation from
our debut post about the brand new and redesigned Maxima, the full-sized sedan
has not only become a favorite, but has also earned the highest 5-star safety
rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Standard safety features include six airbags, antilock
brakes, brake assist, vehicle dynamic control and traction control. Earning the
2016 Maxima five stars in the front, side and rollover crash tests.
Driver Attention Alert systems are also available in the new
Maxima Platinum model, giving the vehicle the ability to sense drowsiness and
prompt the drivers to prevent accidents. While Forward-collision alert, blind-spot
warning and rear cross-traffic alert systems are standard on Maxima SL, SR and
Platinum models.
From a redesigned exterior to the highest rated safety
interior, there is no argument that the new 2016 Maxima is changing the way we
think of traditional sedans.
